If you are living a busy life or you have important commitments for which you cannot take time out for your manicure and pedicure than don’t worry you can to do that equally professionally at home as well. The only thing that is required is to have proper tools to play with. Following are essentials that you must have before starting.

  • Buffing block
  • Cuticle oil
  • Nail polish
  • Nail file
  • Non-acetone nail polish remover
  • Cotton balls
  • Moisturizer
  • Orangewood stick
  • Sugar scrub to exfoliate

Clean your nails

First of all you should use the non-acetone remover to remove any kind of nail polish on your hand or toe fingers. After this you have to smooth your nails surface using buffing block.

Soak and Scrub

After this you have to soak your hand and feet for 3 minutes and 5 minutes respectively in warm water.

Cuticles

After this you should rub your cuticles with oil. As you rub oil on cuticles, they become soft and silky and ready to be pushed with orangewood stick to give them nice shape.

Base Coat

You must have to place a thin base coat to help your nail surface become smooth for your original color that you wanted to apply.

Polish away

After applying the base coat you should now polish your nails in a color of your choice. You should make two coats one after another to make it look great. You should also try to keep the layers as thin as you can because it will help it to dry quickly and for longer time.
